Kinsmen Club of Ottawa
Box 502, Ottawa, KIP 5P6.

Dear Doug,

Having said that we had no more Kinsmen-related records, I found the accompanying photograph last evening.

The calendar on the wall dates the photo nicely. The "money" says "Kinsmen Karnival". The gentlemen at the right is my father-in- law, and the man beside him is also a Kinsmen. He was in several of the other photographs that we sent to the Lung Association, and his name was on the back. It escapes me now, I'm afraid. I believe he was the President of the Kinsmen club in the late 19405 when my father-in-law was the chairman of the Christmas Seals campaign.

My father-in-law would have been 39 years old at the time of this photograph. Looks older, doesn't he? According to those who knew him in his heyday, he was always dapper and sometimes even dashing!

I promise to let you know if the name of the other gentleman comes to me, and of course I will send along any other Kinsmen- related material that I might come across.

Yours sincerely

Beverly Ensom
